(WIMTI)

Women in Mining Training Institute (WIMTI) is the training wing of Women in Mining Nigeria. It was initiated to provide a broad range of knowledge and education on the salient issues in the mining sector, especially those bordering on mining business and economics, methods and practices, gender, justice, poverty, and sustainability

WIMTI is Virtually Held Every 3rd Thursday of the month.

It attracts resource persons and participation from industry players, professionals, policymakers, economists, business coaches and leaders, extractive industry experts, members of Women in Mining, as well as potential miners from across Africa.

Launched in 2021, the institute foresees a future where it can graduate students over time to become capable, responsible, and profitable players along the value chain of the solid mineral sector.
